Mission Disciple School

Proof / Our Story

This is not a theory.
This is what has already happened.

Every number below is documented. We do not publish what we cannot show you.

The numbers

What has already happened

22Orang Asli leaders trained in Gopeng — 15 of them (68%) started discipleship ministry during or immediately after the training
7students started their own 3/3 groups or home churches
5accountability groups formed, submitting weekly homework and SOAPS notes
50+students trained in Penang, across 10+ churches, running 8 home groups with 60+ participants
35+partner churches and organisations across Malaysia
4languages — English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese
20Anglican churches reached at the Northern Region Mission Conference

We publish one number above all the others: fourth-generation groups. A group that started a group, that started a group, that started a group. That is the number that tells us discipleship is actually multiplying, not just meeting.

Real stories

  • Shermaine Koh
"I used to go to church but didn't know how to be a disciple or share my faith. Zúme changed everything. I now use SOAPS to build spiritual habits and understand the Church is a living body, not just a place. Zúme was my turning point."
    Shermaine KohUniversity Design Student
  • Emmer
"Before joining Zúme, I felt distant from God. But now, I can sense His presence more in my life. I especially enjoy the SOAPS devotion method — it helps me understand the Bible better."
    EmmerHigh school student, Penang
  • Wilson Koh
"I run a homestay and thought I knew what being a Christian meant — until Zúme changed everything. Through the 3/3rds groups, I learned that real faith happens in community."

Pastor Jony's story

Who will be walking with you

Pastor Jony Leong

Pastor Jony Leong has served as a regional missionary and Zúme discipleship trainer for Malaysia and Southeast Asia, with Team Expansion, for years.

He saw the same gap in church after church: many believers, few disciple-makers. Not because people did not care — because no one had ever trained them and then stayed close enough to see if they actually did it.

So he built a simple path. Ten sessions. One obedience step at a time. A small group, not a stage. And a way to keep going after the training ends.

That path has already reached Gopeng, Penang, Kelantan, and Kuching. Mission Disciple School exists so it can now reach you.

— Pastor Jony Leong / 梁志松传道

Before you go home to be with the Lord — make at least 12 disciples.

Like Jesus did. If twelve feels like too many, start with three.

The goal is never zero.
